Digital Counter Display Kit - PK021

$12.95

This exciting Solderless kit lets you build a Digital Counter circuit with a Seven-Segment display. You will use the 555 Timer IC wired as an Astable Multivibrator Circuit to input pulses to cause the counter to count.

Then you will use the 4029B Up Down Div/10 IC as a Decade counter to count in binary, from 0000 to 1001. These binary numbers, from the 4029B Up Down Div/10 IC will be sent to the 4511B 7-Segment Latch/Driver IC. The 4511B 7- Segment Latch/Driver IC will be connected to a common-cathode Seven-Segment display which will readout the decimal equivalents of the binary numbers.

Full color instruction manual makes this kit easy to build while explaining the theory of operation. Kit includes all electronic components and the solderless prototype board needed for completion.  The solderless prototype board can be used over and over again to complete many exciting kits.  (Batteries Sold separately)

*** Please Note:  The PK-Series kits do not require solder and are built using a Solderless prototype board. If you are interested in Solder kits please check out our SK-Series for our Solder kits.***
